Maps
The
Ordnance Survey 1:50 000 "Landranger" Series takes three sheets to cover
Mull and Iona, with quite large overlaps between them. These are all purpose
maps and include tourist information.
-
Sheet 47 - Tobermory & North Mull
-
Sheet 48 - Iona, Ulva & West Mull
-
Sheet 49 - Oban & East Mull
The
1:25 000 "Pathfinder" Series is more detailed. For example, field boundaries
are shown, which is of great help to walkers.
Few people will want to buy all the twelve or so sheets that are necessary
to cover the whole area of the islands, but the added detail they offer
is of value when walking off the beaten track.
