Holiday Mull Members' Area: Login Help

Why log in ?

For security reasons you must log in before you can make changes to your Member Details (address etc.) and the information displayed on your Listing.

Logging In

When you click the 'Members' Area link you will be presented with the 'Login' screen. On your first visit you will be required to REGISTER (see Registration, below). Your login name is your member e-mail address (the one Holiday Mull uses to contact you). Your password will be whatever you set either when you registered or subsequently.

When you've logged in successfully you'll be taken to the Member's main page, where you can select further options.


If you've not logged in before you need to register first; this simple process will allow you to create a password and log in. Your password is encrypted and stored on the system. You will need to remember your password for future use.

In order to register, your e-mail address must already be on the database. This means that only Holiday Mull members can create an account.

Click on the link "Register if you've not logged in before" and complete the Registration Form, following the instructions on screen. Click "Register" at the bottom. You will then be asked to Log In, but the information will be completed for you.

If there is already an account you will receive an error message and you will be presented with the normal login screen.

Your password

Your password can be any combination of alphanumeric characters and printable symbols 6-12 characters long. Whatever you enter is checked and then encrypted before being saved. Because of the encryption Holiday Mull is unable to tell you what your password is, so if you forget it you will need to obtain a new one.

Forgotten your password?

If you forget your password you can easily obtain a new one. Just click the "Forgotten password ?" link on the login screen and follow the instructions. A new eight character password will be e-mailed to you. It won't be readily memorable, so we suggest you change it as soon as you can.

Changing your password

You can change your password at any time. You'll need to log in first, using your current password (see above about getting a new one if you've forgotten it). From the Members' Area page, click the 'Change password' link and follow the prompts. After you've changed your password you'll be asked to log in again using the new one.

Changing your e-mail address

If you edit your Member Details and change your member's e-mail address there, you will need to use that new e-mail address next time you log in.

Logging Out

You can log out by clicking the 'Log out' links in the Members page or the Footer. You will also be logged out automatically if you click on any of the main menu items.
