Take the A849 south west from Craignure for about 6 miles then turn left onto the minor road signed to Loch Buie.

A new car park has been constructed close to St Kilda's Episcopal chapel.  (worth a look inside).  Further on is Moy castle, ancient stronghold of the Maclaine's of Lochbuie.  Follow the footpath signs from the car park.  Unfortunately, the castle has to be kept locked due to its unsound structure but there has recently been a lot of renovation and stabilisation work going on during 2007. For an update on the work click here to go to the Mull Historical and Archaeological Society website on Moy Castle.  Nearby is Lochbuie House (private), built by a former Maclaine chieftain.  Beyond the castle you can walk to Laggan Sands, and the Maclaine mausoleum.

Back up the road is Auchimor bridge from which the path to the stone circle is signed. The way can be wet so wear good boots. The circle comprises eight stones, and another standing out of line.

View a 360 degree panorama of the stones.  could take a minute or so to load on a slow system.  Also, you need Java enabled on your computer.
