Finally,
After 28 years of
campaigning and fund raising the end
is in sight and Mull and Iona's
swimming pool will open on Saturday
1st March 2008. The pool is
situated in Craignure adjacent to
the
Isle of Mull Hotel in a glorious
location overlooking the bay. There is
an outdoor hot tub and an indoor pool
with floor-to-ceiling windows.
 While
the children are swimming Mum can enjoy
some dedicated pampering; you can choose
from a selection of opulent Dιcleor
treatments - the specialist in
"Aroma-Skincare" as well as "Bio
Sculpture" treatments incorporating Bare
Escentuals.

Bay is one of the best with it's white
shell sand beach which very gently
shelves into the sea. The shallow waters
make it quite safe for children to swim
and to the right of the beach are an
abundance of rock pools
to be
explored.
There are public
toilets, a picnic area and hotel and
tearoom close by. There is a small car
park and wild camping is also allowed. |
