Balamory |

Tobermory
is famous as the home of Balamory, the
popular children's television series.
Here the children can visit the exterior
of all the houses featured in the TV
programme apart from Archie's Castle
which is in North Berwick.

Mull Rail |
|

Mull Rail, which also
featured in Balamory, is a very pleasant
excursion on the only island railway in
the UK. Take the train to Torosay Castle
and return on the woodland walk back to
Craignure.

The Quest |

The Quest is a children's
adventure project created by by the
people of Mull. It consists of a series
of "Treasure Hunt" styled challenges
devised by many of the tourism operators
on the Isles of Mull, Ulva and Iona. The
tasks are targeted at 7-12 year olds and
involve finding hidden objects,
identifying wildlife, and working out
words in Gaelic.

Fishing |

Fishing in the small Loch
in Aros Park is a great day out for the
children. Permits are only £5.00 per day
for the youngsters and can be purchased
from Brown's Ironmongers in Tobermory.
The loch is stocked with Rainbow Trout
and is a great sheltered place to fish.

Swimming |

After 28 years
of fund raising, Mull and Iona's swimming
pool opens on Saturday 1st March
2008. The pool is situated in Craignure
adjacent to the
Isle of Mull Hotel. There is also a
beautiful sandy beach at
Calgary
Bay which is very safe and perfect
for those better weather days.

Wildlife |

There are many great
places to spot wildlife on the island.
The road from Craignure to Fionnphort
will usually reveal red deer, golden
eagles and otters. The following
