| Balmeanach
Park is a quiet site set within a forest and has its own 7 acres (Environmentally
Sensitive Area). This is a district which offers forest walks marked by
Forest Enterprise.
A 20 minute walk to the Sound of Mull and Lochaline Ferry Terminal. Numerous seabirds include herons feeding their young, birds of prey, buzzards, hawks, eagles, owls and many small forest birds. Good location for south, west and north. Shops are a 10 minute drive or use the bus service. View a panorama taken from the park looking across the camping area. |

| Directions to site:
From Oban take the ferry to Craignure on the Isle of Mull. From Craignure ferry terminal turn right on A849 to Salen, Tobermory. After 5 miles look for Balmeanach Park signs on the right hand side.

From Fort William take the Corran ferry and turn left. Drive down to Lochaline and take the ferry over to Fishnish on Mull. Drive to main road and turn right. Drive about 200 yards and on the right is Balmeanach Campsite and Tearoom. |
