ABOUT
MULL
The name "Mull" means 'mass of hill', an apt
description for this once volcanic island. Warmed by the Gulf
Stream, it's the third largest Hebridean island, with over 300
miles of coast line; Sandy beaches, sea lochs and rocky cliffs
gives the splendour of the Highland landscape an extra dimension.
The lack of crowds
and the less desirable trappings of tourism means wildlife abounds
creating a haven for bird and otter watchers alike. Walking,
Fishing (sea, loch and river), Stalking, Golf, Horse
riding/trekking and sailing are but a few of the many varied
outdoor pursuits available.
